Police Command has turned the police administration into politics

It's very worried for Ghana police to take the state institution into a political platform at this crucial moment of an election year. The inspector general of police has become the affiliate of the ruling government but not for people of Ghana.

The police of Ghana has suspended all the activities of the
police checkpoint not to check any vehicle on the road because it's causing motor traffic on our roads and in our cities. Can this be the main motive behind the police statement issued? This sound weird because we are in an election year which the tension in the country is high the opposition party New Patriotic Party are eying the seat while the ruling party has also not decided to leave the seat as a government.



I believe the IGP and his police team are totally confused and they are there serving their paymaster not Ghana as a country.

We heard from the police that, the illegal arms in the country are more and even the time police checkpoint was working people manage to bring arms into the country and now all the checkpoint is going to break what are the police trying to turn this country to? Or is it the way of convincing the drivers to vote for their hidden political party?
