Since 2012 Ghana has struggle in a electricity power challenges, this has caused the economic challenges in the country and also affected many businesses in the country.
The dumso as we call in Ghana has become the major challenge for many Ghanaians which some political parties in the
country used to campaign in the election 2012 and the 2016 current election.
The ex-president of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama promised to fix the dumso in his administration and later came to say he has fixed the dumso in 2012.
The NPP and President Akufo Addos government also promised in their campaign to end the dumso in the first three months in office and they will also lift some taxes on the utility tariffs which are affecting the cost of production in the country for Ghanaaians to be free.
Hon. Edward Bawa the parliamentary candidate for Bongo speaking to GhOne tv said the NDC government solved the dumso problem before leaving the office but there is debt in the electricity company which the new government, President Akufo Addo can not lift the energy levy as they promised to lift in their campaign message. He said the NPP government cant lift the energy tariffs but they will force to do so, as they promise Ghanaians in their campaign.
He challenge the new government to do as they promised and added he will not be surprise they will force to do.
