Former Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley won a third successive MVP award

 Former Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley won a third successive MVP award in his side’s clash with Goztepe in the Turkish second tier league on Saturday evening.

Nuru, 22, provided an assist for his side to pick the winner in the hard fought game which has pushed them second on the log with a game to go.

The former Hearts man out-jumped his marker to pick a header from a corner kick to assist his side fetch the winning goal with a minute to regulation time.

This is the third game in succession Nuru Sulley has been adjudged the player of the
match as he picked similar accolades in the games against Adanaspor and Elazigspor.

The Ghanaian international has been a defensive rock for the side since joining them a year ago.

The win means that Alanyaspor are a game away from joining the Turkish Super Lig.

A win over Giresunspor on Sunday 14th May will automatically qualify Nuru’s side into the Turkish top flight league.
