President John Mahama and Seth Terkper lack ideas to govern a country Ghana, Not long a go bank of Ghana with collaboration of minister of Finance and president John Dramani Mahama put a ban on any foreign currency accounts in this country that, any businessmen who hold a foreign currency account in Ghana here cannot withdraw money from his or her account to transact business unless the account holder fill a form to request for withdrawal and also elucidate why the person is withdrawing the money and what he or she is going to use it for and again the banks should give cedis to the account holders while a customer have an agreement with the banks she or he is entitle to
receive the same currency she or he deposit to the account hold.
Meanwhile, Before you can deposit cash to your foreign account, the money should be the same currency you open it's account. eg. if you open a dollar account you cannot deposit any amount to that account apart from the dollar currency not even the cedis buying rate for the banks to convert, it is only the dollar you can deposit to the account opened. So if I buy dollar for Ghc 4 per $1 and deposit it to my account and the next day when I go to withdraw and they give me selling rate of Ghc 3.97 per $1 do you think if I withdraw my money in this loss and painful act like this' will I save my dollar in the bank again? this brought fear to the businessmen and also put pressure on the cedis.
After doing this to scaring the businessmen and investors away and weaken the Ghana cedis then the bank of Ghana, Min. of Finance and the government of Ghana withdraw the negative policy they put in a businessmen. All these bad measures come on weekends, it start on Saturday and become a law in this country from Monday.
Now if you transfer any money outside this country you will pay the bank charges, VAT 15% and NHIS 2.5% so in total the Ghana government will charge you 17.5% for any amount you transfer outside the country + the bank charges.
The bank of Ghana and Ghana government has put huge taxes to everything in this country direct and indirect taxes how can businesses glow in this country while there is a major problem in your energy system in this country.
How can we live in this condition and you said you are transforming the people of Ghana? Are you transforming them from rich to poor, God fearing to armed rubbers, decent to prostitutes, people with high dignitary to shame? African leaders must think. There is no peace in this country because people are suffering and they are angry inside their heart.
For the past three years Ghana government increases fuel prices on weekend so that people will not see what is going on in this country.
Do you know Ghana government has increase the fuel prices last weekend?
Everything in this country now, there is a tax on it including utilities, What else again? it has remain air breathing tax and walking tolls.
